ppch-onboarding_1.2.10_amd64.deb
What this does
This is a setup installer for Patient PC Help. When you get a new Linux computer from us, this file configures it all for you — no clicking, no command lines, no confusing prompts.
- Remote access — lets us connect to your computer securely to help you with problems, just like if we were sitting next to you.
- Security key — installs a special "key" that lets only our support team reach your computer, not strangers.
- Monitoring — adds a tool that watches your computer's health (disk space, updates, etc.) so we catch problems early before they become big issues.
- Desktop wallpaper — puts the Patient PC Help logo on your desktop background so you see it every time you turn on the computer. (We can remotely change it to something else if you choose.)
- Useful tools — installs some behind-the-scenes programs that help us diagnose and fix things faster when you call.
You don't need to do anything with this file — if we're setting up a new computer for you, we'll run it for you.
